WHO IS ZOE?

Our Founder

I moved to Los Angeles at 18 on my own, and that’s where I was first introduced to Lagree.

Up until that point, I had been training for years across different methods—from strength training to Pilates—but nothing required the same level of focus. Everything about LAGREE was more deliberate. You couldn’t rely on momentum or rush through a session without noticing. It forced you to slow down and pay attention to how you were actually moving.

The Shift

That experience changed the way I approached training completely.

I stopped thinking in terms of doing more or pushing harder and started focusing on doing things properly. On maintaining control, staying in difficult positions, and understanding how to work with my body rather than against it.

Over time, that created a different kind of strength. Not just physically, but mentally as well—a level of consistency and awareness that carried into everything else.

The Philosophy

For me, discipline has nothing to do with punishment.

It’s about self-respect and the standards you set for yourself. It’s choosing to show up, even when it’s uncomfortable, and doing the work with intention rather than rushing through it just to get it done.

The Method

That’s what everything here is built on.

The focus isn’t on extremes or quick results but on helping you move better, feel stronger, and build something sustainable. You’re in control of how you move and how you progress, and the method is designed to make you more aware of both.

It’s slower, more precise, and more demanding in a way that requires you to stay present throughout.

Ultimately, it’s about doing things well and doing them consistently, with a level of intention that makes a real difference over time.
